Milkweed 1

On a walk in the Berkshires, I came on a field of milkweed plants. A few of them had distorted, curled leaves, signs of distress from disease or nutritional deficiencies. Struck by their forms and colors, I collected several and composed this image, which also includes an unopened flower cluster.
