July Dance

Black-eyed Susans and bygone Daylily flowers evoke summer gardens in this image. Dried Day Lily blossoms are called “golden needles” and are used in Chinese cuisine. As the flowers dry, they take on interesting forms that suggest their former glory in subtle ways.
