Chrysanthemums

‘Spoon mums’ from a fall garden. Initially, I composed several arrangements with the stems and leaves attached. The results, while decent representations, did not portray the flowers in ways
that satisfied me. Too prosaic, perhaps. After many false starts, I scanned them using only the blossoms. This composition displays their forms, colors and splendid details, in their festive autumnal glory.
